Zoom Video Service:
• Seeking gently used, iPhone 8/iPhone X (from 2017’s), iPhone 11 (from
2019’s) or newer iOS mobile phone. iPhone can be unlocked or locked
through any carrier. Phone will be used to support Zoom Video services
using Wi-Fi (no carrier service needed).
• Through evolving needs, we modernized our audio and video equipment to
support video communications using Zoom services. This includes the
purchase of a high-quality live streaming Mevo camera system. This system
will continue to enhance our ability to stay connected… stay tuned as this
capability continues to grow.
• Many thanks to Jon Page, Jason and Samuel Livingston for your Zoom
support.

Sound System
• To meet the growing demands for wireless broadband services, the FCC
recently changed the spectrum for wireless microphone operation on the
600 MHz frequencies. This change effects our wireless microphones used
within sanctuary sound system.
• We purchased two “Shotgun” microphones to replace the two wireless
microphones (blue and orange) and pastor’s ear worn microphones.
• To update our audio and video equipment, funds earmarked for consultant
fees to investigate Assistive Listening Device (ALD) options will likely be reallocated. ALD systems aid people who are hard of hearing by using
infrared (IR), audio induction loop or other means.

Window 7 Computers
• Mid-January 2020, Microsoft stopped providing updates for Windows 7
computers. Windows’ updates are an important mitigation tool towards
security vulnerabilities.
• Migrating our bookkeeping records from Windows 7 computer to our new
Windows 10 computer is complete. If you are a current user of the finance
computer, please coordinate with Amanda Kral to finalize your new
Windows 10 accounts.
• Charles Little and Bill Valvo founded our security camera system and for the
past 6 plus years have been leading the charge to mitigate security
concerns. Unfortunately, with Microsoft no longer supporting Window 7
computers, it’s time to build from their ideas using Ring security
technology. As approved through 2021 budget, over the next several
weeks, new Ring doorbell cameras will be installed at major entry
ways. These devices will allow us to monitor building access to include
adding the ability to communicate with guest wishing to enter the facility.

Access Control System (ACS):
• Our current Access Control System (ACS) operates on a Windows 7
computer.
• Through 2021 budget, we engaged TCI Solutions to upgrade our ACS with
Paxton 10 services.
• Door access will continue through keypad personnel PINs or using Paxton’s
Key app for smartphone, Apple Watch, or tablet.
• Additional information regarding building access through Paxton 10 will be
available soon.
• Paxton 10 service allows us to integrate our ONVIF (Open Network Video
Interface Forum) camera located at the front door and provides a platform
for us to build on for future needs.
• TCI Solutions ordered parts. We are estimating August – September
completion for this project.
