🎥 “God’s work. Our hands.” > Our Tech Team works behind the scenes to ensure that our worship services, digital resources, and online spaces run smoothly every week. By managing our audio, visual, and streaming technology, this team bridges the gap between our physical sanctuary and our global community, allowing us to stay connected as one Body in Christ.
🛠️ What We Do
The Tech Team supports the parish ministry in a variety of vital ways. Whether you are a tech expert or completely new to digital tools, there is a place for you to serve:
- Visual Presentations:Â Running the screen slides, announcements, and worship graphics during services so everyone can follow along seamlessly.
- Digital Communications: Assisting with the website, updates to online platforms (like the Lion’s Roar and The Virginia Lutheran e-newsletters), and keeping our community informed.
- Hardware & Setup:Â Helping maintain our sanctuary equipment, Wi-Fi connectivity, and media systems.
đź‘‹ Join the Team: No Prior Experience Required!
You do not need a background in technology or professional media to be part of this ministry! We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds, ages, and skill levels.
Why Serve on the Tech Team?
- Full Training Provided:Â We will sit with you side-by-side and walk you through every piece of equipment, button, and software program until you feel completely confident.
- Flexible Scheduling: You can serve as often as your schedule allows—whether that’s once a month, every other week, or just for special seasonal events.
- A Vital Ministry:Â Your hands-on work directly impacts shut-ins, traveling families, and distant members who rely on our digital reach to stay connected to their church home.
